Duke Farms Renovation
Multi-phased substantial renovation of several turn-of-the century structures for various uses including (1) the Farm Barn Orientation Center and (2) the 1899 Conservatory and Gardener’s Cottage into a state-of-the-art conservatory and teaching facility. Upon completion, Duke Farms will apply for LEED certification for two of the buildings with the goal of Platinum for the Farm Barn Orientation Center and Gold for the 1899 Conservatory
Also included is substantial sitework and infrastructure upgrades for the ±2,700 acre site including new utilities, restoration of existing lakes and landscaping, new stormwater retention basins, rainwater collectors for use in landscape irrigation, and a constructed wetland.
