Science Building Renovation
This ongoing phased renovation of Saint Joseph University’s Science Building consists of interior renovations of teaching laboratories, research laboratories, classrooms, and offices for the Biology, Chemistry and Physics departments. The scope also includes mechanical, electrical, audiovisual, and data system upgrades and a new fire protection system.

Phase V
± 14,000 SF renovation including:

Demolition of existing architectural and MEP systems in faculty offices and common spaces on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors;

Renovation of faculty offices on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors; New MEP systems, new ceilings, new flooring, new paint, new lights;

Replacement of AHU-3 and all duct work;

Installation of new transformer and substation;

Installation of new emergency generator;

Installation of new fire pump;

Installation of new sprinkler piping and heads throughout entire building;

Installation of new ceilings, lights, and sprinkler piping in all corridors; and

Installation of new casework in specific common spaces.
